Term 4 Male Overall Athlete & MALE WINNER FOR JASMINE RANDALL RUNNING CLUB AWARD Both Achieved by Jon Campbell. This young man ripped up on the track and did it with ease. He also stood out during speed and agility with fantastic hip drops on 180 turns and all the while remembering his team by encouraging and mentoring them along. Jon showed that he came to train, he is respectful and put in 100% every time.

Term 4 Female Overall Athlete Awarded to Rose Pattie. This young lady has worked hard and was the fastest girl in our club. During training sessions she was an inspiration and motivation for athletes to try and keep up with. On the track Rose encouraged others and gave her best. Rose guided and encouraged younger athletes and she supported older athletes in the club. Rose also showed she could assist GMG setup training sessions. Thank you Rose you have been a wonderful helper.

RUNNER-UP OVERALL MALE ATHLETE Achieved by non other then Isaac Dickson. Young Isaac has shown consistency and every term he has achieved a form of recognition for his leadership and athleticism Isaac has been running against athletes 3 years older. His style seems effortless and powerful. An all round athlete in speed, agility and endurance who is nailing it and gets better every term. Way to go Isaac.

Runner-Up Overall Female Athlete & FEMALE RUNNER-UP FOR JASMINE RANDALL RUNNING CLUB AWARD Yes this is the Jasmine Randall the award was named after and came 2nd place in points for running. She also achieved Runner-Up for Overall Athlete because of her positive attitude and being a great role model an exceptional athlete in speed & agility and her ability and confidence to mentor and encourage athletes younger than herself with qualities to strive for and a lot of heart. Excellent work Jasmine

FEMALE WINNER for JASMINE RANDALL RUNNING CLUB AWARD Won by Nicole Lavagna-Slater. A real awesome effort and competition was intense and exciting. Last term Nicole came in as Runner-Up and this obviously gave her more drive and she just ran. A very competitive athlete and very focused. Way to go Nicole this has been one of the most nail bitting wins ever. Well done!

RUNNING CLUB AWARD Achieved by Luke Borg who has worked extremely hard and has learnt through practise when to flip on his mental switch and take off. Luke had collected so many points from achievements in track he was able to miss 4 weeks of track training and come back to take out an award. Today 14/12/13 at track with timing gates Luke achieved 10.92seconds for 100meters. Proud of you Luke!

MOST IMPROVED FEMALE ATHLETE Awarded to Ana Gamlin. Young Ana has had vast athletic improvement she had struggled in track for 1.5years to ranking 3rd this term behind Nicole & Jasmine. Ana has come from running 12 months ago at 7minute kilometres to 5.10minute kilometres. Anas speed & agility classes have seen Ana achieve the 5 fastest girls twice and shows that she can do it. A quote from Usain Bolt. "The difference between impossible and possible is a determination".

"SPORTSMAN OF THE YEAR" IS JESSE CHRISTOU Congratulations to Jesse for receiving “Sportsman of the Year” at Gaven State School Graduation.

RACES FOR RIBBONS (Monday 9th to Thursday 12th) Full of cheering and lots of noise. The athletes gave their all and had a ball! hahaha

MOST IMPROVED MALE ATHLETE Awarded to Dylan Opie who has come back after a sporting injury he had for over 2 terms. Dylan has been smart about his injury that while he was unable to physically train he attended training, supported the team, cheering them on or accompanying them around the track. Dylans commitment and positive attitude is excellent. 'This term Dylan successfully completed his 5 kilometres and was able to keep up in speed & agility training. Dylan was also receipiant of an Excellence Award

DEDICATED COMMUNITY AWARD FOR ANA GAMLIN Presented by Councillor Caldwell for the Michael Crandon MP Member for Coomera Award. Ana was chosen by her peers in recognition for being a dependable, responsible and trustworthy citizen who has been dedicated to her commitment. Leading by example and shows a positive attitude to all facets of school life. Ana has also received an Honours Certificate for being Sports Captain Head of House for Foxwell. Foxwell for 2013 were the overall champions. Way to go Ana and excellent leadership skills and tremendous support with and for your team mates!

QLD AFFILLIATE CUP OPEN WOMENS CHAMPIONS 13year old Tiarni Bryce & 15year old Kiara Bryce joined a wonderful team and their team WON! A two day competition held at Metricon Stadium. These girls are champs! Competing in School, Club and Representatives making Districts and Regionals and still find time to make training in GMG. We take our hats off for these girls they "just do it". Congratulations and we are so proud of you both!
